BRIDAL TERMS

& CONDITIONS

PLEASE READ & UNDERSTAND ALL TERMS & CONDITIONS BELOW BEFORE MAKING A BOOKING. BY PLACING YOUR DEPOSIT YOU HAVE AGREED TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS.

To place your deposit

& secure your date.

- To secure your date, a $300 deposit is required.

- Unfortunately, no dates can be held without a deposit.

- Deposits are non-refundable & non-transferable.

- The full amount must be paid 2 weeks prior to your wedding date. If you fail to make final balance on its due date you will be charged an additional late fee. (This late fee is 10% of your deposit amount per day overdue). If you fail to pay this Caroline Lysandrou Hair has the right to forfeit your booking at anytime. (You will not receive your booking deposit back in the case of this happening).

- Once your deposit is paid and your date is secured, there are to be no changes made to the booking total. No refunds will be issued for any of these included issues, including any unforeseen circumstances or covid related cancellations. Your quote cannot be altered if any guests need to be removed for any reason. Removal of guests from your quote will still require you to go ahead with the original quotation.

- For any reason you need to cancel your wedding booking and rebook for another date this will then require a new deposit for your new date.

Bridal deposits are only acceptable by net bank transfer.

WEDDING STARTS & EARLY CALL OUT

Caroline Lysandrou Hair's earliest standard start for wedding bookings is 5am.

Any requested start time before 5:00am will incur an early wake-up fee of $350, which will be added to your quote and final balance. Any times before 5am requires additional wake-up and preparation time. Travel time must also be considered.

Clients booking start times before 5:00am acknowledge and agree to this additional fee.

SYDNEY CBD PARKING & TRAVEL

For all bookings within the Sydney CBD, the bride/client is responsible for organising on-site parking at the hotel or venue. Valet parking must be aranged directly with the hotel prior to my arrival, and all associated costs must be covered by the client. If parking has not been organised in advance, the hotel may require you to sign for my departure, and any valet or parking charges incurred will be billed directly to your room.

THE VEIL

Veil Placement & Additional Service Terms.

The veil will be placed either just before you walk down the aisle (for on-location ceremonies) or prior to leaving for the ceremony, as you are about to enter the cars.

Time will be allocated in the morning to go over the veil placement process with your Maid of Honour and one additional bridal party member. Together, we will ensure everyone feels comfortable with both the application and removal of the veil. This is especially helpful for full-day photography, allowing you to transition smoothly between wearing and not wearing the veil while avoiding any damage to your hairstyle.

Caroline can place the veil before she leaves following final touch-ups. If you feel this is too early and would prefer Caroline to stay beyond the morning cut-off time for veil application, this will incur an additional cost starting from $450 + time. This extended service must be advised to Caroline Lysandrou Hair at the time of booking or during the quotation period, as the additional afternoon time will be reserved exclusively for you. This means Caroline will be unable to accept other salon bookings on that day, and your booking will be considered a full-day service.

BRIDAL TRIALS & GENERAL INFO

I would highly recommend a trial for all brides. A trial will consist of a proper in depth consultation for me to better understand your overall look and ensure that I am able to give my honest opinion and recommendations of what's best suited for your hair type and what we need to do to achieve your look.

Bridal trials are a duration period of up to 1. 5 hours and are preformed in salon only. Please be aware that you will not leave the salon with a polished finish. Trials are strictly for us to play around with the hair, which will require swapping and changing of the part, curling, setting, restyling and brushing out. We use minimal products for hold to do so and purely focus on getting the style right for you so we can do our job correctly on the day. A trial is for you to envision your style and see it on your hair for the first time this way i'm provided with a better understanding of your overall desired look and if needed we can make amendments. The trial and how the hair last after your appointment has no bearing to on the day of proper setting and styling.

If you wish not to have a bridal trial, Please keep in mind:

~ If a guest / bride is unhappy with their style and request a restyle unfortunately this will require additional costs for the time spent to restyle the hair. This is to be paid upfront & in full prior to commencing. You will be made aware of this before continuing with your second style.

~ Any guests on location who wish or request to have their hair styled that are not in the bridal party or on "the quote" will require to pay upfront and in full. This will only occur if i see fit to go ahead with this extra service and given the okay by the bride on her day.

THE COST OF A BRIDAL TRIAL

One style - 1.5 hour duration $250

Two - Three styles / or time. 2 hour duration from $250+

Pricing is a guide and subject to change at the discretion of Caroline Lysandrou Hair.

BRIDAL TRIALS

The month of January 2027 is closed. NO BOOKINGS or Trials will be available in this month. Please be mindful that booking in a wedding February / March 2027 will mean your bridal trial will commence in Nov - Dec 2026.

Bridal trials are between Friday - Saturday only. Trial dates will be released accordingly to the months so please keep an eye out for your emails. Restricted dates are set aside for bridal trials due to upcoming bookings in the salon & scheduled weddings. These trial dates do get taken quickly, once receiving an email regarding opening dates please do not leave it too long to respond or you will miss out.

I request that only the client receiving the service attend the appointment. Please do not bring along any guests with you or they will be sent away. These strict restrictions have been put in place for a more intimate, timely and safe experience.

CAN I HAVE MY TRIAL ON THE

SAME DAY AS AN EVENT?

Some guests request having a trial on the same day as an "event". I prefer to keep each styling service separate from one another for the below reasons:

In the bridal trial i'm not setting your requested style for your event and then you will be on your way. For the trial I will be using minimal products that way I am able to change partings, change the shape of the curl, set and brush out ect.. This is not realistic or practical as your style for your event will be pre - tampered with from your trial and you will not leave the salon with a polished finish or guaranteed the best results or maximum hold for your event. Once the hair has been tampered with, there is nothing I can unfortunately do with the aftermath of playing around with the hair from your trial. For example: This may result in simply a curl not holding shape from excessive heat styling or over brushing.

Brides also like to have a second style fitted into this time frame depending on time if they are not sure of the style they want, this will again require more brushing out and re-setting again. Tampering with the hair means any style we set after your trial for your "event" will not guarantee best hold or shape.

However if you wish to proceed with this service, this will require additional time in the salon and needs to be scheduled into the day. This styling service will be charged again as a separate booking on top of your trial service and have nothing to do with your trial time or your desired wedding look. - Event Styling is From $160.

HOW TO PREP YOUR HAIR

For the wedding & your bridal trial.

Hair must be pre -prepped the night before your trial and the night before your wedding day. I require clean hair for the best results.

~ Please wash your hair & condition your ends only. Blast dry your hair 100%.

~ Please do not add any heavy products or smooth iron your hair.

~ If you have oily hair please do more than the usual two washes. Condition ends only!

~ Please do not go to bed with damp or wet hair and then blast dry that morning.. You will wake up with oil build up at your roots. Its important to dry your hair completely before bed.

HOW TO PREP YOUR HAIR EXTENSIONS

For the wedding day & your bridal trial.

The extensions must be washed before your wedding. This is a crucial step! If these are not washed and pre prepped properly the silky layer on the exterior of the hair extentions will play a huge roll on how the hair will hold and present itself.

~ Please wash the hair with shampoo only!

~ Do not condition.

~ Do not add any heavy products.

~ Dry the hair completely so the hair dose not dry oily.

~ The hair will 'blow up" in size after washing and wont be silky this is what we want! Do not run the iron over them.

~ Do not cut the extentions. Do not let your hairdressser cut the extentions.

(!) If you are a bride working with hair extentions and a new set it is so important you do not take these to your regular stylist for a cut or style in. Your extensions are complementary styled cut into place and personalised by me on the day accordingly to your desired style. Having the hair pre cut will effect the way that I place them in on the day and may also require another cut, which will take more length off.
